Message from General Manager
Matt Crandall
Whew!! It has been busy around here! With the addition of the Lamborghini brand, the complete remodel of the new Lamborghini showroom, the huge success of the Portland Auto Show, and ramping up for the New Year we are really looking forward to a very exciting 2008. We are filling up the calendar with lots of customer events, drives, track days, car club meetings and social gatherings. We post a lot of information on the Gpimports.com website, so please continue to follow our posts for up coming events and plan to attend as many as possible. I am sure looking forward to the spring and summer drives that we all participate in, we can't wait to get out and enjoy the cars that we all love. Be sure that you are ready for those sunny days when they come. This is always a good time to do those items that you have been putting off, or just the regular maintenance. Give the service department a call and schedule an appointment. And, if you are worried about the weather, we can arrange to transport your car for you if needed. But better yet, this is the best time of year to find the car you are dreaming about or saw at the Auto Show. Call myself or one of our sales professionals here and we can make that a reality!

Currently we are about 95% done with our build out and we are just finishing up the countless minor cosmetic details that just cannot be overlooked. The scene that these new Lamborghini's present is one that cannot be missed out by anyone. It is just such a rush to the senses of any car enthusiast when you see cars of this caliber presented in a way that exceeds the norm. So feel free to stop by and share in the newest and most awe inspiring automotive experience in the Northwest.

'Focus on our Customers'
Robert S. Smith
Bob Smith claims that he has always been a 'sports car kind of guy'...ever since he can remember. And that interest has pretty much turned into a passion for Sports Cars and European Exotics.
Bob met Erik Clover years ago as they both had the same taste in fine clothes and they became fast friends. When Erik started here at GPI over 3 years ago, it was natural for Bob to be invited over to Gran Prix as Bob is a local Wilsonville resident.
"You get a warm and fuzzy feeling every single time you visit GPI", Bob says. "I love my relationship with Erik, he's totally my guy...and now I know almost everyone at GPI now and they are all great". "Gran Prix Imports had really created a very comfortable place to come and buy great cars.", he goes onto say.
Bob's daily drive now is a heavily modified Porsche 996 Twin Turbo he purchased from us about two years ago. And, most recently he purchased a really nice Mercedes Benz CLS55 for his wife Lynn.
Bob is a Registered Investment Advisor with Oregon 1031 Investments, and has been in the financial services business for twenty-four years. He graduated from the U of O and got his MBA from Willamette University. Bob was recently featured in the Portland Business Journal with an Executive Profile.
The other priorities in his life (besides cars...and clothes or course) are his wife Lynn, and running. The Smiths are local residents of Wilsonville and have two grown children.
Bob, pictured above in the new Lamborghini Portland showroom here at Gran Prix Imports, is sitting on the new 'thinking bench' (or 'pondering bench' as Lamborghini likes to refer to it). And it must be working because Bob is seriously thinking about a Lamborghini.

Say hello to Jennifer, our new Receptionist
Jennifer Verbeck is our new Receptionist, Showroom Hostess and Events Assistant here at GPI and she's fitting in just great. She is super friendly and can't wait to meet everyone, so be sure and introduce yourself next time your in the store.
Jennifer recently graduated from Portland State University and also recently just moved to Wilsonville, (she loves her 5 minute commute to work!)
Jennifer pictured above, came down to the Portland Auto Show to help us out in the Lamborghini booth.

Lamborghini History
'The Bull'
The founder of Lamborghini, Ferrucio Lamborghini, had a passion of bull fighting, as evidenced by the logo chosen for his car company - a charging bull. Mr. Lamborghini also carried this theme over to the names of his cars, almost all of which were named after either a breed of fighting bull or a particular bull.
