Lamborghini Portland LP560-4The Gallardo LP560-4 is one of the world's most exclusive sports car. No other automobile in its class can combine the unrivaled performance and elegant contours so eloquently. It is a ground-breaking combination of athleticism and luxury that delivers a unique driving experience. It is so well rounded that there is precious little left to add, except for your own personality, of course.

For the LP560-4, Lamborghini completely redeveloped its engine design, boosting performance while increasing efficiency. The vehicle gets a bump up to 560hp from 530hp from the previous model, while getting an approximate 30% increase in fuel efficiency thanks a more efficient intake manifold, stratified direct inject (IDS), a lighter common pin drive shaft and new phase modifiers.

The automated e-gear transmission has been completely redesigned and improved in all aspects. The complete system has not only been reduced in weight, but the time employed to change gears has also been reduced by 40 per cent in “CORSA” mode. The driver may choose between five different driving and changing programs: in addition to the ‘normal’ mode, the Gallardo LP560-4 offers a SPORT program with its even more rapid gear changing times and increased number of revolutions.

The CORSA program directs the engine to optimum acceleration. It permits a greater slip angle and also allows - with maximum safety - the full dynamism of the LP560-4 to be enjoyed even on a race-track. The Automatic mode the vehicle changes gear in total independence and permits a particularly comfortable mode of driving.
