The history of Automobili Lamborghini officially starts in 1963. Ferruccio Lamborghini, born in 1916, decided to build a factory of luxury sports cars, to compete with Ferrari, for personal reasons. Many people thought he was mad man because of the heritage of Ferrari. That's what Lamborghini was all about, leaping into the unknown, going outside the norm of conventional design and setting out to conquer the impossible.

Today, Lamborghini as a company and as a vehicle, is at the top of the Exotic and Sports car eschelon. The vehicle is built as a street car with racing capabilities, not the other way around, that's what makes driving and owning a Lamborghini such a unique and rewarding experience.
